Horrible Steering Wheel Vibration on Highway. Anyone else?

This has been happening for a while, but I figured it was just a bad balance on alignment. Well, I took it to Mavis to get 2 new front tires (Continental Conti-Extremes 235/40/18) for my 2k5 Maxima 18" rims. When I left the Mavis, I took it on the highway to see how it felt and handled and the steering wheel vibration was obscene. everything in my car was vibrating like crazy! So I took it back to them and had them re-balance the tires and when i took it out on the highway again, the vibration was a little better but still way more than i know it should be. My father just bought a 2006 Chrysler Crossfire with 19"s on it with the SAME EXACT TIRES and his has absolutely no vibration on the highway whatsoever. I'm not saying my car should feel like a new Crossfire, but my girlfriend's stock '94 Honda Accord feels better on the damn highway than my Maxima that I've thrown thousands of dollars into!!
so, i have kyb agx struts with H&R springs and a brand new lower control arm. Now I realize that by lowering the car you sacrifice some ride quality which i completely understand, but the amount of steering wheel vibration at around 75 MPH is absurd. Surely there must be a way to lower your car without feeling everything on the road through your steering wheel. Any help? thanks

its the balancing......

make sure they are using a finger adapter on the wheels and make sure it is a dynamic balance and not static.... should have weights clipped on the inside lip of wheel and stick on weights towards the outside of the wheel....

whoever is doing it probably isnt doing it correctly....otherwise, make sure the suspension is tight and also hand spin the wheels on the balancer to see if there is any slight bends in the wheels or high spots in the tires.

It is either the wheel balance OR the caster on your car is off spec.

Damn you need a alignment. Was it even aligned after any of the above parts were installed?

i didn't get an alignment but the car isn't pulling. i thought you needed an alignment if the car was pulling a certain direction when you were driving and took your hands off the wheel for a moment. steering wheel vibration is directly related to balancing i thought. but it probly is a good idea for me to get an alignment anyway...

Not necessarily. If the toe in/out is not correct the car can even be impossible to steer.
