dosent sound like it should have any thing does it leak now that the glue is gone? you might need a new drain plug

no leakage, i guess theres still glue inside so its impossible to get off. eh ill just have to deal with the little notchier shifts. and i wasted about 20 bucks on the wrong kind of gear oil anyways (GL-5).

use a short extension and a breaker bar to pop it loose.

a lot of times you will get seepage around the fill plug if you don't put a small bit of RTV on it. usually all I do is put a thin layer of RTV on the threads when I put it back in and I don't have any problems.
Also note you don't need to crank that thing in there like that. (I've even seen tranny cases crack because of people putting them in too tight.) all you need to do is get it snug and use the RTV to keep the thing from seeping.

No he means unscrew it like normal, you just need to use an extension and a breaker bar to loosen the plug.

The reason you are having so much trouble is the person to last put the plug in used too much RTV on it and over tourqe'd it

HYELLL NO, don't HIT it with anything, you'll most likely miss and smack yourself in the head with it.

go to the hardware store and buy yourself an iron pipe approx 12 inches long

eg gas line pipe 1 inch

slide this over your ratchet handle, this will give you plenty of leverage.

good luck and be safe ...

breaker bar = long handle wrench that gives you tons of leverage.

think about it... what good is banging on it going to do?
