Quick question on changing steering fluid

ok i read some where on the internet how to change the steering fluid with a turkey baster.
but as far as what band to use what do yall recommend?
and which line to i fill it to
i have 160,000 miles on my car if that helps any.........

Well you will be able to empty the Resovoir that is about it, That will not empty the steering rack at all. IF you want to get the steering fuild changed you have to unlpug the pressure lines that go from the pump to the rack and just drain/bleed away. Or take it to a dealer were they can pump it out with a pump.

Trust me it it easier to just find someone who has a pump machine or you will have quite a mess on your hands.

If you change the fluid in the resevoir every week you will eventually replace all the old fluid with new fluid. Do it every oil change.
