3.0 Oil pan, timing covers, 3.0 intake gears and whole timing assambly
98 LSD Infinity tranny
and the rest of 5 speed swap parts
97 Manual ECU
Ebay FPR

Basicaly I think pretty much I think the same thing as everyone else doing simmilar swap.

Imgoing to use 3.5 injectors and fuel like and i need to modify the fuel line and I have a question about the return fuel damper I basicaly use the 3.0 damper on pressent fuel line right ?

You don't have to modify the fuel rail at all.

On the current fuel rail there is no return line for the fuel there is only 1 damper and on the 3.0 there are 2 dampers I dont need to modify that ? I can leave only 1 damper on the fuel rail

Have you read the 3.5 swap sticky?

Check the stickey's. You don't modify but you convert it into a returnless system by adding an adjustable FPR and a tee. Check the sticky's and you will see what I am talking about.

you can get the motor for about 700 bucks shipped. You have to get some various hoses, coulplers, tilley's cam adapters, and possibly stephenmax's iacv adapter. Your stock ECU will work just fine, but you may want to tune it with something like the Greddy Emanage Ultimate. I'm in elizabeth, and I just finished my swap.

I know someone selling one in Queens right now. The story is I told some kid about the swap and he went and bought the motor and put it in. Nothing else. So after I told him he messed up because of all the other steps he missed he is going to get a VQ30 and put it in. I think he wants $600. He bought the motor from Saw Mill out in Yonkers and it has a 6 month warranty. I think only a month and a half of the warranty is up. Has 39K on it. If you are interested. Let me know.

hey what do u mean he messed up because if all of the other steps he missed, is the motor good ?

As for other question I bought the motor in Brooklyn from a junk yard for $650 shipped, I have 6 month warranty on it its 3.5 out of a 2003 maxima 34k miles. I think I’ve gotten a pretty good deal and as far as the ecu and everything else goes, stock ecu , I have emanage blue probably going to use that. I hope it will do the job although I’m not sure but it might. I got my cams drilled and spacers from tilley. Suggestion get your self a 2nd 3.0 if you need your car running while you’re prepping your engine. I’ve gotten an engine which was pretty much apart but it had all of the parts that you need for the swap. and MaxBlack97 sure you can see it when its done i hope in a week or 2 it should be up and running

[QUOTE=urmab]hey what do u mean he messed up because if all of the other steps he missed, is the motor good ?

What I mean is that I told him the motor can physically fit in the car but I told him there was a lot of other things that needed to be done. So this fool goes out and buys the motor and puts it in the car without swapping the timing equipment. Once I told him he had to remove the timing equipment and have the cams drilled he wants to get rid of it now and get the 3.0. Like I said great condition motor with warranty. If anyone is interested let me know.

Mike

Drilling is a thing of the past. Contact Stephen max for the adapters. I'll give you this since this is your first post. Donate and search.
