I have a knocking or pinging that kicks in around 2500 rpm whenever I am accelerating. I've got the 17 deg timing advance and always use 93 octane gas. Does anyone else have this problem and is there anything I can do to stop it? thx

 

Widespread problem. Mine happens from about 1700-2000. Do a search, there must be a dozen threads about it.

 

Do you feel vibration at the paddle when accelerating?

 

knock sensor going bad .... or the timming is causing it. Mine does it all the time no matter what gas I use...... I just got used to the sound
