Found A/C leak, do I need compressor oil?

So I found to leaks coming from my high and low ports. I am obviously going to replace the valve seals at these ports, but on top of that I am going to add some stuff called "Stop Leak". It states to empty all the remaining freon which I will do, but I needed to know if I need to add any compressor oil after I vacume the system dry? If so, how much oil do I need?

First, It is not called Freon, It is either R134a or R12 depending on the year of your car.

Now, are you talking about just the Compressors oil that lubes it? Like peg oil? Cause you shouldn't need to refill that. but than again, I am new to nissans so this is what is it like with most other cars.

Also, I never would trust those home filler kits, They never work out. You need a AC machine to do it right. And I would not put stop leak in it until you know were the leak it coming from, cause you could posion your system, And you DON'T want to do that.

If you are leaking from your port seals and have fixed that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with filling your system yourself if you have the proper tools and know how to do it, which is very, very easy. You won't need any "stop leak" type product if you've already found and fixed the leak and you are certain that you got everywhere that was leaking. If you completely drain all of your coolant, you should refill your oil as well, as it lubricates your compressor. The small can that you can buy at any auto parts store is what you will need. I don't recall how much it is, maybe 3 oz. or so. Use good safety practice, always wear gloves and safety goggles.
