all motor 250 to 300 hp?
is it possible to get the maxima engine in a 95 to 300 hp on all motor? beyond intake and exhaust and without putting in a turbo or s/c.

Well my friend you are going to need to do research but I'll start you out with a must need to reach closer to 300hp, and that is VTC
OK. Granted it is Nitrous but you knew what I was talking about.
Additionally, I am a literal person. I agree with everyone and there statements but I took what he said literally which is
"is it possible to get the maxima engine in a 95 to 300 hp on all motor? beyond intake and exhaust and without putting in a turbo or s/c."
As it clearly says he is talking about a vq30 motor. Not just a 95 max but a 95 motor. But if we are talking about swapping motors then HELL YES is my answer.

yea i have a vq30. I really dont want to have to spend 6000 on a turbo or S/C. I dont want to swap either. i want to put stuff into the motor to make it better.
If he means crank then yes it's possible. I am already around 270 or so without cams or flywheel.
If he means wheel, then I think it's possible to hit the lower end of that range (but you'd have to do a LOT including cams). If someone is just going to slap on all the bolt ons it will be difficult to get there.

Crank is the power the engine puts out at the crankshaft prior to all the losses through the drivetrain and tranny. Wheel is the power measured at the wheels.. after subtracting the losses.
You are always interested in wheel not crank becuase that's what you actually have available on the ground to accelerate the car.

255 whp is roughly 300 crank horsepower, given a 15% drivetrain loss. Your going to have to rev the snot out of the engine and provide room for the engine to breathe (cams, re-worked intake manifold)
In theory (rough estimation)
headers $850
intake $50
full exhaust $450
lightweight flywheel $300
cams $1000
ECU upgrade $500
High compression pistons $1200
Headwork $800
Lightweight rods $1200
Lightweight valvetrain $800
Total = $7150
Pricing excludes labor, shipping, and applicable taxes

u guys make it seem like it isnt possible to take our 3.0 to 300whp n/a
is it cheap? heck no. but it is doable. u might spend 2x as much as u would building a turbo car but it would be very doable to get the motor to put down 300whp.
off the top of my head u would probally need these things:
1. a serious tune and tuning equipment
2. a cam of some sort
3. lots more timing
4. every n/a bolt on
5. no acc and no power steering
but that would still leave u a short and u would need to crack the block open and do some head work, high compression pistions and a valvetrain which would let u rev towards 9k or even a bit higher. and the ability to supply the fuel to it.
its doable..but far from cheap.
ohh i just notice larrio just posted most of what i posted, but i still think u might end up like 10-15whp short and would need some really serious work to get u over 300 or maybe race gas

you and those 9k rev limits...

Im not either, I have a few plans comming up

It's going to be much cheaper to get 300whp N/A out of a VQ35 than a VQ30. Some Z guys have done it. That's about 360 HP flywheel. If you're going to do an N/A buildup why not pick the 3.5 instead?
give your engine to Cosworth....!?!?!?$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I would say, 230whp will not be entirely unusual for dek's once they get the EU up and working perfectly and that's before cams...!

You're not going to get 250-300whp easily or cheaply out of a vq30. There's a few altima guys that have 250whp and SR20DEN has 268whp.
To do this you're going to need:
3.5 motor - $500-$1000
ECU/Ignition key/immobilizer - ~$300
e-manage ultimate - $600
tuning - $250
misc parts $250
JWT knockoff cams - $600
full exhaust including headers $1000
=$3500-$4000 not including labor
or you could get 300whp out of the box with a LS1 camaro or 250whp with a Mustang GT.

I think the greddy EMU is doing great things for all generation maximas....once it is fully operational with the bugs being sorta out...the maxima's whp will be a good amount higher than the maximas whp of 1-2yrs ago...
With that said, I'm sure VQ30's would be hittin 225whp with all bolt ons (including 00vi) and the greddy EMU....and VQ35's would be hittin 265whp...must have all bolt ons (including the SSIM) and greddy EMU as well
this is without cams either...slap on cams on either setup...and I'd throw on another 15-20whp on top of the #'s i've listed above...

i think well see into the 270's whp from the 3.5 on EMU, maybe even 280. when someone gets a 350z map for timing and everything i bet it will be real high.
