I do not have a grill for my car yet. I did the 97 front bumper conversion and have a full lip kit. What grill should I get for my car to finish off the look. I didn't set-up a Poll yet because I don't know which ones to choose from. Here are some samples. Tell me what you think...

Not the greatest and Very out-dated pictures. Just to give an example of the grills. Any other recommendations are cool.

 

the chrome grill just looks tacky... go w/ the all black stock SE grill, imo thats the best looking one

 

Go with the black, i think it looks very nice.

 

all black and get some stock fogs for a nice lookin front end

i just did a conversion myself, i bought the chrome one (which is ok) but i wanted to buy the SE grille but they didnt have one. my conversion was very cheap, bumper was 27 bucks, grille 20 bucks and i bought two new fenders for 40 bucks.

 

get a chrome one. it does not look at tacky. with all dark colored cars i think the chrome grill looks better. if you ever see a dark car with the stillen the front looks awsome with a chrome grill. i had a green se grill but i changed mine

 

Get the sarona grille! I love that grille but i think it would only look good with dark colors

 

You should just paint the chrome one then. I just did mine about three weeks ago with that Fusion plastic paint. It turned out really good.

I got an eBay 97 bumper for $60 shipped. I can get a non-painted grill for about $40 shipped. Pretty good prices.

I wasn't even considering the chrome grille until I saw this picture:



That one looks really nice. I didn't think the chrome grill would look that good. I also have chrome door handles. Both pieces could match?

I love the Sarona Grille! It's my favorite of all time. I just don't want to spend that much. And I don't see any in the forsale forum.

How much did it cost you to paint the bumper? and did you put it on yourself? My friend is looking to do the front 97 conversion and is thinking of buying the bumper on ebay.

 

I didn't get the bumper painted yet. It comes in gray primer. Yes, I put it on myslef. It's pretty easy to do with the correct tools and stuff. The bumper I got from eBay is pretty good quality and fit perfectly...
