Have you tried posting this question in either the 'Audio and Electronics' forum or the forum for the car's specific generation? I think you'll get better response in either of those places, even if you have to look for a "sort-of related" thread to tack your question onto.

I'm sure that it can be done, somehow.

But chassis and suspension talk is what goes on in this forum. While it's likely that some of the regulars here could give you a better answer, it's the electronics and in-car entertainment folks that you really want to hear from.
