CEL disappeared

So yeah, i'm driving today and noticed my SEL wasn't lit? That light has been on for months and now it's gone. It was throwing front right 02 sensor code and KS. I was having bad hesitations at 2k-3k rpm's. it doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. I know the bulb didn't burn out because it stays lit when i turn the key before i start the engine.

I'm pretty stoked but it could come back on.
Anyone know why this happens?

EDIT: i just changed the spark plugs a month ago. Could the car be responding to that?

Yeah, after a numerous amount of start up cycles (not sure exactly how many), the CEL will soon turn off. If that O2 sensor is bad, I'm sure it'll pop up again. Just curious, why are you waiting a long time in changing the O2 sensor if it is bad? I wouldn't run my car that long when the CEL is lit. More complications could arise if the fault code is not repaired. And, yes, your hesitations could have went away after you changed your plugs.

I see, hmmm? My car definately lost that bogging at low rpm's. I swear i have had the SEL lit for month's and it never reset on it's own. I just dont want to put $200-$300 into this car and i can't do it myself. I don't have jack stands or ramps and the car was $3500 w/171,000 on it. If SEL comes back on again i will just pay a shop to replace the front right sensor because that was the one throwing the code.

Thanks guys

It could have started giving good readings, but it might fail again. The knonk sensor though is still probably bad its jsut a ghost code (dosent light the CEL/SEL).

I've had my CEL on for two years, just check the codes once a month to make sure nothing new pops up

Change plugs -> better combustion -> carbon burns off sensor -> no CEL
