Mileage after oxygen sensor replacement

After changing two oxygen sensors on the y-pipe, my car goes from 26 mpg to 31 mpg. I drive a 92 mile one way commute every day, most of which are highway.

Your signature video seems too violent to me. It would be helpful if you could get rid of it.

The Oxygen Sensor codes were founded at auutozone. I didn't know that I had bad oxygen sensors. I asked the autozone guy to check whether I got any codes while I was there buying a new battery.

Well I guess at 173k, I need to be getting some new O2 sensors. But I already get about 31-33+ mpg, would it be neccesary.

my o2's got slow responce already at 90k.... I change it but I changed the wrong o2 in the y-pipe, now im waiting for some money to change the right one. Anyway Now im getting about 18mpg driving highway and city, however I drive hard cause I own a max and not a honda. Even last year the best I did was like 26mpg, driving like a total newb grandma, which I figure was useless cause I cannot drive like that for a full tank. Idk how you guys get over 30mpg... must be 55 cruise on highway.... but then I ask why do u own a maxima?

I don't think you necessarily have to change the rear one, it doesn't have to do anything with mileage or performance.

I know what he means, but it was in a PG-13 movie (Dodgeball), and this is a PG-13 site, and the Sprint himself put it in there for me. Oh well.

I gotta get the car into the shop, thank god today is pay-day.

Can anyone help me ?!

My check engine light was on and I had it computer diagnosed.
I got error code: PO150 Bank 2 , Sensor 1.

Also my mileage now is 13 m/g in the city.

I was told it's one of the front O2 sensors.

I would like to buy the sensor on eBay but I don't know which one do I need.

I know that there are 2 sensors in the front: one on the radiator side and one near firewall side.
Are two of those front sensors the same or they are different ???
Which of the two sensors do I need ? and where can I find it on eBay ?

I looked on ebay, all sensors they sell called just "Front" or "Back" and I dont see any "Radiator side" or "Firewall side" sensors.

I have 97 Maxima GLE.

Thanks

I would just go ahead to replace the two O2 sensors in the y-pipe. I bought mine on oxygensensor.com
