synthetic oil

are there any problems when changing the oil from regular to synthetic? my max has 111000 miles on it so i thought it might help the life of the motor.

This should probably be in fluids and lubricants.

I have went back and forth with no ill effects.

Do two applications of AutoRX before switching. See www.auto-rx.com and www.bobistheoilguy.com

The AutoRX will clean your engine internals and ring packs, rejunevate your seals and minimize the potential for leaks which you might otherwise experience when switching to synthetic oil at your mileage.

Synthethic vs regular motor oil

I recently went in for a oil change at a Nissan Dealer. I have about 150K on my 96Max. They (without my knowledge) put in Castrol Synthethic blend motor oil in the car. It's cost about $45 dollars for a oil change using that. I was wondering if it was worth it especially since it is such an old car??
