Possibility of Limiter

Hey does any one know if the 2000 I30 has a top speed limiter tried knock my friend off in his 325i but when i hit about 130 my overdrive light started flashing and car sort of slowing down and stuttering and if there is any way to disable it

i think it may be limited at 120, if not it will top out at around 140, but the flashing sounds like you may have done your tranny trouble...

no limiter to my knowledge. i think the GXE maximas were the only one with limiters, but the flashing overdrive light = tranny is now in fail-safe mode. sorry not really sure how to clear it, do a search, you're a donating member after all
