Greddy SP2 VS Apexi WS2

I have heard the SP2 and it sounds great. I heard there are some fitment issues though like the b pipe sitting too low and the muffler tip melting the bumper. I also came accross the Apexi WS2 but haven't heard too much about it. Does anyone have this exhaust installed? Is there any performance difference between the two? I am getting a budget SS y-pipe also and I don't want crazy loud. Anyways if you guys have any more info on the WS2 or the Sp2 please let me know and pics are always welcome! Thanks!

The Ypipe + Greddy combo is very mellow...I use to have it on my 4th gen and it was damn quiet for a straight through exhaust system....however I heard the APex WS as well...and between the two, the Apex is hands down a little quieter than the Greddy....

I'm looking for a sporty setup. Steven88 I remember you telling me about your setup. Was it quiter than your cattman setup? if so I wouldn't mind getting the greddy at all but i'm concerned about the fittment. A lot of people say it hangs low and when you raise it up it has the potential of melting the bumper. If the Apex fits better I would't mind sacrificing the sound.

Im in a similar situation, iv always wanted a nice quite performer cat back exhaust and i now have a serious exhaust leak so i figure what a good time to replace it, i have a warpspeed y pipe, so i was leaning to the new warpspeed cat back with there so called "q for quiet" muffler, and if im gona do that might as well get the warpseed high flow cat and have a complete header back warpseed performance exhaust, wut do u guys think, any reviews? wut do u guys think i could run in the quartermile with this exhaust set up and just ur typical k&n cone, i was feelin low 15s but high 14s would be amazing.

I'm leaning towards the greddy since I can't find any info on the Apex. If I buy the 97-99 model do I still have to weld a bung for the 02 sensor? I'm getting the Budget y-pipe for sure unless someone says otherwise I'm going to get both pieces installed by a shop so I don't run into any annoying problems.

weld a bung for o2...? the o2 sensors are located approx 2-3 inches below the manifold-downpipe flange, on the vertical sections of the downpipe. any downpipe (aka y-pipe) you buy should have bungs in them already for the o2 sensors, unless you get one from ebay or something?

The Cattman was noticeably louder than my Greddy...thats for sure

The bpipe deal is just, you gotta deal with it...don't drive too fast, and you will be fine

Yeah I'm not slammed and I haven't bottomed out on my Ground Controls. So I'm not too worried about that anymore. Wow nobody has any info on the Apex. I guess its not too popular for some reason. Yeah I think i'm going Greddy but first I'm gonna order the budget y pipe. But hey if anyone has any info on the Apex still post it so I can compare the two.
