Hey guys thinkin about some nice racing seats, not really a set that have holes in the back for a five point harness but some good seats like recaro. Who else makes good ones, also who makes them in leather.

sparco has some good seats, i think they have leather too, maybe pleather. if it were up to me, i wouldnt get racing seats, i would probably go with black leather honda prelude seats. they are real comfy for me and are suppose to fit with little modifications in out cars...just something to think about..

I think Jamex makes nice leather seats too. If you want something for street, get Sparco. MOMO is more for race.

As for the leather, Recaro makes leather, MOMO dont have leather I dont think. MOMO makes really light seats that should shed some weight off for race cars.

Re: Ummmmmm.......

I should have mine within a week. = ) Can't wait, it's been 3 weeks now. I hate waiting on them to custom make the brackets. Thank god for sponsorships, they aren't cheap.

As for good racing seats, make sure you get reclinable ones. The non reclinable ones are too extreme for a daily driver. Takes forever to get in and out, and if you gain a little weight, = ).

Re: Ummmmmm.......

I have the A4s.

THEY'RE WONDERFUL! BEST DAMN MOD I EVER SPENT ON THE CAR!!!! RIMs?! no. ECU? NO. SEATS ? YES>

why?

you are ONE with the car once you get high performance racing seats. u can feel the car. sooo much better. its like a glove.

my advice?

if you wear a pant size smaller than 34. go with the A4s.

anything larger? go with Targa RS or Carrera.

the A4s are for small butts like me.

GET RACING SEATS.

do the right thing

I have the Corbeu A4s is my C4 Corvette. Space is an issue in these cars, and they are a snug/perfect fit. Wouldn't they be too low to the ground for a Maxima?

I have a small butt too, but I think I'll go with the carreras, because I like the way they're shaped too.

Re: Re: Re: Ummmmmm.......

I almost got the Carreras, but they were too deep for me. They have higher bolsters than the A4's and so are very snug. I don't know if I could drive with a seat like that every day.
