GR2 shocks blew out in 2 months?

My rear shocks were just replaced w/gr2s and as the title states they only lasted 2 months ... and i have stock springs BTW. about the worst thing i can say i did to them was drive hard one time with 4 people in the car, but i think they should be able to handle that. The only suspension mod i have is a progress RSB, but i can't see how that wuold affect the shocks either.

Anyone else have bad luck with KYB GR2s? What else is out there that's inexpensive as a stock replacement? (one that will last a while

Did they all blow, or is it just one or two?

I only replaced the rears, fronts are still stock. Both rears (gr2s) are now leaking.

That's really sketchy.

Hit KYB up for a warranty return, and ask for advance replacement (i.e. they take a deposit, send you the new ones, and refund the deposit when they receive your busted ones).

Must be a bad batch. I used mine on lowering springs and they were just fine after almost 2 years.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll try to contact KYB directly and see what they'll do for me. I really want to run these shocks, they were great before they blew out and i don't want to end up with some mushy generic stock replacement shock. I need to fix this pretty quick, i almost crashed changing lanes the other day

Yeah, they have lifetime warranty so you should be good.

They will definetly warrenty them on the stock springs, but if you nicked the pistons during the install your done. I have AGX and they are old as dirt, I dont think they leak yet.
