I have a 98 se max and i want to get some new rims....19"s or 20"s on my maxima.... I know this can be done, but will they rub or have any problems? Here is a guy who has 20's

TireRack.com says that i can put Milli Miglia Evo 19" 8.5 on it, when i searched for what wheels i could put on my max specifically. My question is, can i put these 19's or even 20's on my max without it rubbing of having a problem? And do i have to bore out my wheel well or not? Can i still put sprint springs in if i have 19's? Thanx

i have a 3rd gen and i have 19's with not probs..with eibach springs. i was gonna get 20" alba blazes but they were a little to close to the strut for my comfort so i went back to 19's. i have had to sets of 19's and have had no probs. i haven't had to make any kind of body modifications of any kind, i am sure they will fit fine on your car. you might want to go into a tire shop and see what they can do and sugest. good luck.

I have 19"s on my car and even with it dropped 3.5" on ground controls, it doesn't rub. My car is much lower than a car with Sprints, so I don't see Sprints as being a problem.

... dont forget to make sure you have your checking account in line though. your mileage will shrink by 10% or so in a city, 5-7 % on a highway. sluggish acceleration is also a guarantee. just something to think about before you make a commitment.

i think wheel weight makes a huge difference too. You can get an ultralight rim that still looks great
