Window motor/regulator how to
Does anyone have a how to for removing a door panel and installing window motor/regulator.
I found the door panel how to in forums here but the pics are not wrking....
i need all the hlp i can get guys....thnks
Also please let me know how hard is it to do this....is it wrth doing myself or taking to a shop.

This is the write-up I used for mine, it's a 3rd gen maxima but the procedure is almost exactly the same if I recall correctly. And yeah it's pretty easy. THe only thng I'd add is make sure the screw/bolts holding the regulator are tight I don't like the design of them because the threads stop 3/4 the way down the bolt so if any of them are loose the regulator will move around on you. When I did my rear passenger side regulator one was loose and I had to switch a couple until I got them to tighten correctly.

Remove door handle trim and power window module. Depending on the year some screws at the bottom, lift/pull on the door panel. Once off, drop the window/regulator almost to the bottom 2 screws hold the window to the arm I think 10mm, finese the window out, remove 4 more bolts that hold the regulator and pull out of the bottom, if you want to remove the window guide 4 more bolts. Reverse for instal. It really is not that difficult about 30-40 min total, but then I've done it several times.
