How low can i go...with 15mm or 20mm wheel spacers?

I want lower my 98 max with eibach springs. I also want to put in 15mm or 20mm h&r trak wheel spacers in the back. I know the eibachs lower the car pretty low so i'm wondering if i can use those springs or do i need different springs that dont drop the car too much. If i do need different springs which brands would be ideal for my setup???

P.S.
My first thread started so if i sound too dumb dont be too harsh on me

Trust me, you can go MUCH lower with a max.
With those spacers, and eibachs won't have anything to worry about.
My car is lowered a little over 2" MORE than the eibachs lower the car.
What kind of struts are planning on getting with the eibachs???

And on a side note, if you ever want to upgrade to the best suspension you can get for the max..... Contact me, I can get a gread deal on some D2 coilovers :-D

Not exactly sure which struts, still looking around but nothing has convinced me on which to get. What kind of springs and struts are you running??

what wheels? what offset? what width tires?

you can't say squat about an actual answer until you know that.

Tell you what... measure your car's ride height on the ground. Then put your car up on jack stands and remove the spring from the strut assembly. put the strut back on the car and the spacer with the wheel. now jack the whole corner up and down and see if anything rubs.

I'm gonna be sticking with the stock 98 se wheels. Not going to get rims until i'm totally done with the car. But thanks for the info.

I have 15mm spacers in the rear with 8 inch wide +40mm offset rims. They don't rub, although they might if I had passengers in the rear and a load in the trunk. The top of the of the rear fenders on 4th gens is not bent up like the fronts are (take a look to see what I mean) and with the beam suspension you won't get any negative camber on compression so that reduces clearance significantly. But if you really need to you can have a shop roll your rear fenders.

With stock SE rims (6.5 inches wide, +45mm offset) and 15 or 20mm spacers you will not have any rubbing problems with a 1.5" drop.
