Replaced knock sensor and injector, now wat?

I just got done replaceing a rear injector and the knock sensor. Got it all back together, no more check engine light. But I have a intake leak or something. Sounds like its comming from the front of the plenum but i loosened it up and re-torqed it. Still a leak. I am really hoping its not the intake manifold

Spray around the area you think is leaking with carb cleaner (stay away from plastic) and see if the leak stops hissing and the idle improves when you spray one spot (this is leak). Alternatively, put a plastic tube in your ear and run it around the area and see if you can hear the leaking spot.

Checked all the line, it sounds like its comming from behind the front valve cover. SO i am guessing the plenum or the manifold. I am really hating life right now and am very temped to get rid of it

How does the car idle? does it idle alright or does it just want to die after a few seconds of running it? Also is there fuel everywhere? if you pinched the O-ring, then there would be fuel everywhere ( something I did when i pulled off my plenum and put the injectors back in incorrectly)

it would idel for a second, but very rough. It would sputter and want to die if i didnt touch the gas. Also it would shot smoke and gas out the tail pipe. I fixed it the other day none the less.

Well, it sounds exactly how my maxima acted when i messed up. I didn't torque the lower manifold down correctly. It was tweaked and i had an air leak. glad to hear you finally got it fixed.

Well it only smoked for a min or 2. When i drove off it gradually stopped and it hasent smoked for the last week since i worked on it. So i am guessing its ok right?
