Msd ignition, loud horn
Im looking to buy a msd ignition system and dont know what one to buy, i have installed a cold air intake, and exhaust system. and by the stain above my muffler i can tell im not burning all my fuel. My spark plugs and wires are good. Just wondering what i need and where you got yours.
also i need to upgrade my horns because they sound like ehh weak. I saw a post on here a long time ago about horns and lost the bookmark, and dont know what they were called but they were Red in color, and looked like the stock ones.
Thanks for any sugestions or help.

horns are simple 1 or 2 wire connection if you need help with that than modding your car yourself may not be a good idea. Go to any parts store and buy a HI & Low horn replace stock and it will sound like a Full size car would.
As far as not burning all your fuel have you checked the distributor and the rotor? Your timing might be off a hair too might have that double checked!

the horn that you were refering to a while back is a HELLA horn I think. BTW, if you can find an 1988 or similar BMW, there are two horn that are located on either side of the bumper, just underneath the front plastic covering under the front wheel well, rig that in your max and prepare to let your ears bleed if you were to listen to it from outside of the car. Infact, I put a pair in my gf's huyndai, and whenever she hits the horn, I can feel the vibration inside the cabin.

If you have unburned fuel, the I would guess you have a leaking injector.
The horns are called HELLA SUPERTONES, and you want the ones that are 300Hz and 500Hz, there are other kits (hella supertones) that have a higher frequency, you don't want them.
