Driver side door wiring question (trunk)

I havea 1992 maxima SE I changed the driver side door with a 1991 or 90 door because my 1992 door was damaged badly. Problem is 1992 SE has power trunk unlock on the side of the door panel the 1990 or 1991 has the lever for the trunk on the floor. Is there a way I can use the 1990 door to unlock my trunk. The 1990 door doesnt look like it has a harness for the power trunk. Also The key I have looks original but dosent unlock the trunk. It does unlock the glove compartment so I dont think its a valet key.
Any help is appreciated.

1. you can swap the entire interior door panel which would include the switch.
2. the trunk locks tend to go bad on the 3rd gen not sure why though

I have the 1992 door panel and switch (My car is the 1992) The thing is the door I just installed which is the 1990 doesnt seem to have a harness for the power trunk switch, so thats pretty much my problem the trunk release switch is in good working condition

do you still have your old door?
the harness should have been reused from your 92 door anyhow.
worst case you run some new wires

Yeah, I guess my only option is to run new wires as I got rid of the door earlier today. I was going to take out the whole drivers door harness of the 1992 damaged door but instead I only took the plug that goes into the trunk release switch.

I got two different answers from the faq's one says there is just a brown + wire in kick panel. the other says ther is brown + and light green and black wire.
I checked kick panel there is 4 or 5 brown wires?
which one is it?

Why wire it in at the kick panel and then be forced to run several feet of wire through the rubber gromet into the door?? Why not just splice into the power window motor harness (behind the door panel)?
