warpspeed Y

so i ordered my Warpspeed Y pipe last sunday and my car is a 96 and so they told me that there is no difference in a FED or a CALI spec as far as the y pipe is concerned and they said it only matters on the 99 and 00 models. i wanna know if this is true or not cuz i dont wanna waste time getting the wrong one. thanks

the vin number is the key. for 99's there is a different number for cali spec. When I ordered mine they confirmed mine was fed by vin.
