yeah I just had too replace my drivers side calipers and and brake pads.. I went to autozone they have, "cardone" calipers for 78.00 plus an 84.00 core charge and they have a lifetime warranty that was the attraction for me I used metal masters for the brake pads but my rear rotors are crossdrill/dimpl and they will handle the pads better.... oem is good if you have stock rotors
support your fellow .org members and visit the group deal forum for the pads. As for the caliper, any autopart store will sell u rebuilt ones. Make sure they're "unloaded" so they don't come w/generic pads.

The rears will never "overpower" the fronts. The way the brakes are set up, the fronts do 60% of the braking and the rears do 40%. Unless you install a brake bias device, what you are talking about will never become an issue.
If I were you and picking brakes, you've got to look at what kind of driving you do. If you want something that will stop the car, go with a generic brand. If you want something that hardly has any dust and provides consistent stopping power with minimal fade, you've got to pick an aftermarket pad. There are lots to choose from and searching is your friend.
