Hey guys my car has a little bit of rust on the rear passenger side wheel well, right where the metal wraps around. The car was never in an accident. What is the mileage limit on the rust warrenty.....90k or 99k? My car is at 93k right now so im hoping it still covered. Thanks in advance.

it is 100k but it needs to be rusted all the way through in an area to to qualify for the warranty. I checked up on it before I hit 100k and thats what nissan told me.

 

I thought the corrosion warranty was strictly based on age. Maybe it's different in Canada but I thought it was 7yrs, unlimited mileage. And as stated before it was to be rusted all the way through and I think you have to prove that it started from the inside.

 

Making claims on rust warranties is like pulling teeth.. go to your dealer and see what they have to say -most likely they'll give you some runaround story about how they can't pay to have t repaired.

 

pretty sure the policy is 60 months unlimited miles
