raybesto's noises at slow speeds

So i just got my brakes done. raybesto quietstops with raybesto rotors. stoping is noticably better then before my OEM setup. i got better pedal feel and everything. Will bleed brakes later on.

But upon slow stoping, like extremely slow. i get a faint squeek. Not a squeel but its noticble to me with the windows closed. Speeds of idle to about 5mph. I test drove it right after my brake job and it was great. pulled in garage and no noises at all. 30mins later i go to pull out of my garage slowly and they start squeeking everytime i applied brakes.

I'm wondering if this is normal or are they just in need of more breaking in

Did you put anti-squeal on the backs of the pads? If not, they will usually squeak with light braking.

i got them only because i saw a local deal. $44 discounted price for pads with free raybesto rotors. So i'm keeping these for a little bit. mines don't squeek all the time. just light braking. only when i'm pulling out of a garage. but aside from that no issues.

I applied a shim at the back of the pad only. But the noises has stoped, so i guess it was just a bedding in the brakes issue.,

I had the same setup. QStops with raybestos premium rotors. I also had a squeek in the beginning, but it went about after a while.
I've had them for about 30k miles and the rears are ok, but i'm having the weirdes problems in the front, random crap that comes and goes. from weird grinding to pulsating, and slow stopping etc. Anyway, i still have a lot left on the pads but I think the shims i used that came with the pads was a bad idea. I think they suck! they were a weird adhesive type... anyway Just thought i give my input. I probably wont buy them again. (Unless I'm positive its my shims that suck.)
