Its Been Fun, But Goodbye Maxima

well everyone, i got a lil promotion at my job this week so to treat myself i picked up my 2006 infiniti g35 coupe 6mt today. ivory pearl with frost interior, navi, sport package and aero kit. my father wanted to get a maxima for himself, so i talked it over with him and we decieded that he will take over my car for the remaining payments and ill get the G for myself. so at least the max is still in the family lol, but no more modding it, and all the mods i have gotta come off.

its been fun and thanks for everything....ill still be passing through to see the progress everyones making with there maxes.

GOODLUCK!

Hi Logik,

Congratulations on the Promo and also on your new ride.
A friend of mine just got the new G35 in black. It's the Special Edition Sport, It comes standard with 19" Special Wheels, that same back-up camera. There is no Navigation as it is not an available option on this edition! That's because it comes with 4 wheel steering! That's right you read correctly. 4 wheel steering! It's a 6MT with 298 HP. It takes a bit of getting used to when shifting (I tried it out), especially 1st gear. Although I heard that after a few hundred miles it gets easier after the initial break-in period. My friend's is black on black. He went from an Altima V6 to this plus he as a really souped up Bright RED 300 ZX Fairlady modded twin turbo. That's his toy. I beleive it's got over 600 HP! THe G is his daily driver and it will not be modded.

Enjoy the car & happy motoring. Also greetings from Montreal. The Mets and the Yankees are doing really well this year however the Rangers should be ashamed of themselves. They have the most expensive payroll and they suck!

Thank you everyone, the car is really gorgeous i love it...as far as getting used to the clutch i know exactly what you mean.

that 4 wheele steering your talking about is called rear active steering....which is also available on the m45, and the handeling that it gives the car is out of control.

as far as the ny snow storms i went through a 2 foot blizzard with a 91 240 sx 5 speed so ill manage. If not i do have a backup car lol.
