VE cluster in my VG
So I was at the J/Y last Wednesday and came across a VE and decided to get the cluster since Wednesday is 50% off on everything at that j/y...got the cluster for like $8 and was my first time to experiment removing the mileage to replace with my actual mileage, if I messed it up oh well it was 8 bucks. Everything has been installed and mileage seems consistent (not the issue)
Well to get to the point, I have a VG which the cluster only goes up to 125MPH and replaced it with a VE which goes to 145MPH, after installing it late at night I decided to go on a lonely highway for a test, and guess what? I stayed dead even at 125mph, would NOT go past that but the car in fact felt like it was still going. Now with my VG cluster I've buried the needle to the point where there arent any numbers.
So to the question, if my car in fact IS going faster than 125mph is there anything I can do to actually register it on the speedo? Has anyone done this and actually got it showing more on a VG? VE guys if you're not saying something nice dont say anything at all
Disclaimer: I do not condone speeding and do not promote it, speeding was done for testing and experimental purposes and was done in a closed course by a professional driver
