bought the red overlay, smoke side markers and 6/10 smoked reverse overlay.

 

looks good man thats what i want my tails to look like after i get the plug adapter for them

 

Where did you get the smoked side markers, and the smoked reverse light? ive been lookin for them... any help is appreciated

yea u just stick them on

first u have to clean the tail light, then get a spray bottle with water and a little bit of soap and spray the area, stick the overlay on and then get a credit card cover with paper towel or somthing then push the water out.

you get the instructions when u order from him

 

I like the look a lot.. really helps the rear tails blend in with the rest of the car

uhhh yea they are the same shape

 

actually they didn't fit on my 02-03. It's the same shape...SURE...but might not be the same size. It was TOO big for the turn signal section. it had to be trimmed. JKLX86: it fit w/o any cutting correct?

 

i didn't have to cut anything, but the overlay goes over some part of our red part of the taillight

 

yeah the one I got..it's completey bigger than the 02-03 tailight signal section so it looks funny with red over lap.

Instead of the overlay, has anyone tried painting the clear part of the SE tails, similar to what us 5 .5 guys have done to our tails?

yea but the circles are of the same radius so all you have to do is trim it a little, not an impossible task.

did these a late last year...with Lamin-x film.




I think it looks really good...subtle and cops haven't even me grief at all. I also used the extra lamin-x to do the sidemarkers. I can post better pics, PM if interested.

 

Pri63, looks really nice. Do you think that lamin-X film would work with the sharp curve on the side of the taillights if I were to do a full taillight cover?

 

and it is safe to run it through car wash???
