What. The hell. Is that?

Says it has a 300ZX engine, yet shows no pics. Isn't that a pretty damn important thing to show a pic of?

Also, why is it gold in some pictures and bright friggin yellow in others?

It's a damn ugly car, but the 300ZX swap is kind of cool, assuming it was done professionally.

I always wondered what shaving the corner lights would look like..... apparantly not good. Same with getting rid of the tails.... and what the hell are those little holes on the driver side door? keyless entry?

funny

I have never seen the car here on maxima.org or any NW forums (his location is about half way between Portland and Seattle). He could have gotten a lot of tips and information for other mods had he done a little searching.

A lot of work put in, but definitely not my cup of tea.

I feel sorry for that car, and hes going to get some retarted Q's about the engine.

I do however, like where he put the gas tank filler, thats a neat idea, but thats where my appreciation ends. But really which color is it? doesnt matter Id rather see that car put out of its misery then sold.

So what color is the car really, gold or yellow. IMO the car looks so much better in a gold tone.

the gas cap location is terrible.
you have to open the trunk to fillup with gas, when you pop the trunk after rain where do you think the water will go?
what about when it snows?

(turn signals have been relocated to the bumper) that is a lot of customization and a lot of hard work put into this car. hours of metal fab, air ride suspension, complete interior remake, custom paint and wheels, etc...

too bad it looks like one of my stool samples

i think it doesnt look good. maybe a little less "pointless" body work would help. the gas filler has to suck for rain and snow.
but this does look like a beretta

I'm not a fan of the final look (paint color, flames, shaved tails). But I like the bulk of the mods - shaved door handles, gas filler location, wheels, air-ride......, and even the hood scoop and filled cornering lights. You mod to be different - and that 'look' is certainly different (first time I've ever seen it - so it's unique).
Take the flames out'a the interior, change the exterior color and put some E36's on it, and I bet a lot of people would think it was hot.

How can you possibly like the filled/shaved cornering lights? It's not even a matter of opinion, it's a fact that it looks terrible. Pure 100% fact.

And you're right, you mod to be different, but that doesn't mean that you should throw good taste and common sense out the window!

I mean, I can duck tape various objects to the body of my car to be unique but I don't because it would look terrible, yet still better than the car in question.

That's your opinion. And that's fine. But your opinion (and that of others) does not make it "100% fact".
It looks fine. It looks less like a Maxima, that's for sure. But it gives a somewhat smooth and clean line to the car by getting rid of those droopy corning lights (downturned ends).

Don't get me wrong tho, I'm not lovin the look and wouldn't do it to my car........,but I can appreciate the effort and the outcome.

Hello! IMO, the car in question looks great, it's a nice show car, but definitely not for a Maxima, all the mods make it look like a completely different car, I sure like the interior and the trunk (except for the gas cap) but there are 3 things that just don't go with my kind of Maxima, 1st Paint (hate yellow for cars) 2.- Rims (dude, is a Maxima! not a CTS or a 300!) and 3.- Tail!!! it just looks horrible with shaved corners, relocated? where? i barely can notice a couple of thin lines if you call those tailights, well it's just the way I see it, i'll never do that to my Maxima!
