New quick mod, clear lenses in the doors.

Hey thanks to nypimp49 for the great idea (and Tek for the "how to") I got some courtesy light clear lenses from the Armada for my doors. Perfect fit, same piece just cleared out. I quickly threw in some extra LED's I had lying around, looks sweet!

Hey JSmith,
I've just looked at all your mods on Cardomain, and your car looks amazing!
Few questions for you, as I'm totally psyched about your mods:
Where did you get the 7" LCD display that you put into the upper dash? How easy was it to fit in?
Do you have an aftermarket Nav system that you connected this LCD to?
How hard was it to move the stock display to the lower bin of the dash?

Thanks,
and once again great job on the mods

Hey thanks man! Screen came from a buddy of mine, you can find them on EBAY. You just need to find a screen with no buttons on the front for a clean fit. Fits right in, you just need to bend the stock brackets out a bit. NAV is a Pioneer AVIC N2. Screen move down is just as easy, you just have to remove the lower pocket and get the plug down there,it's a bit of a stretch.

And once again thanks for the props!!

I just went to my local Nissan Dealership and I looked at a lense from the 06' Armada..........not sure what year your's are from, but the ones I looked at were similar, but had more curves in them, and the $30 a piece price tag kind of discouraged me from it!

I just said "Armada" didn't specify the year, but the Armada hasn't changed since it came out as far as I know. $30 a piece, well my guy will sell them for $20 a piece if anyone wants them...just PM me and I'll give you his e-mail address.

No disrespect Jsmithsole...but if this mod isn't a secret, can you give us a part number. I think this a great mod and I would also like to partake in the LED light show.

I would do it but I would Nissan made them red for safety reasons. When you open the door at night you don't want to flash a bright white LED at cars coming towards you.

That's funny! Over half the mods that are done to our Maxima's changes some safety aspect that Nissan built for these cars.

How about a blue light? People tend to stop when they see blue lights...the feds are coming, lol.
