I definitely would, if...

...there were decent struts available for it. I just can't see the point in creating coilovers for a car if you can't buy struts for the car that will handle the demands of linear rate coilover springs. That's the situation that anyone with the "other brand" of coilovers coupled with Tokicos or stock struts has to deal with

The ONLY reason we went ahead with our early gen4 prototypes was when I figured out how to adapt the KYB struts to it, otherwise there was only the "semi-adjustable" Koni's and they 1) didn't work very well and 2) were of such unreliable supply it wasn't worth designing a product around them. Then we stumbled across the KYB trick and made them work.

The only possibility I can determine -- and you can speculate how many buyers there would be for this -- is using custom valved Konis and designing around that. They start at over $300/corner. Plus there would be four camber plates instead of two (nice, but expensive feature). Adding significantly to the hassle is the fact that the Konis are cartridge inserts, so there would be the process of having to get strut bodies to install these in addition to the necessary adaptation of the strut body to accept the threaded coilover sleeves. Lots of time and trouble. And I suspect that they would -- if made to the standards of my gen4 system -- cost at least $1200 more.
But, they would be very cool and the result would be awesome. Who's interested?

If 3rd gen maxs are called A31, JIC has had coil-over for a very long time already!

I am sure JIC is way better than Cattman's adapted KYB AGX shocks!

I just don't like the stupid comments MaxTuner is making thats all. He's replied to anything suspension related Cattman has responded to. HE posts up a website showing wow a bunch of coilovers from a retailer. How about he does some research like I did and find the company, and make some moves instead of sitting behind his monitor talking trash.
If he wants to flame on me, PM me, lets meet up.

I recently got a S4 Avant (Take-over Lease.) It runs 13.88

The A6 4.2 I raced runs 13.41, and he still whups me, but we'll see in a week or so. My Max is fine, however thinking of selling since the car is developing problems, but only time will tell.

WTF is your problem jacka$$, if you have nothing positive to say, then shut your trap. The A31 here in the US was different from the A31 in Japan. Do your research, and you'll see what I mean.
As for Cattman, you wanna knock on his stuff, don't buy it.
If you want JIC stuff, go contact the company make a group deal or something.
Stop acting like a child, shadowing Cattman's posts, and do something positive for the maxima.org community instead of making retarded comments about JIC this and that.

-Laying the SmackDown...
WTF is your problem then. I have JIC majic coil-over suspension US version in front of me, it clearly states that they have SF1/2 model for Nissan Maxima up to 99. NOw shut your stupid mouth before you embarass yourself.

and i have seen and used Cattamn's stuff...it sux that's it.
