If you are going to change "ALL" interior lighting to blue, then yes, you do need to solder. Things like the window switches, a/c control, hazard button, defroster, security light, dimmer switch, etc all have LED's in them so you would have to desolder them and replace it with what ever color you want.

For the rest lilke the dome light, map light, door light, gauge cluster, you can buy leds that are in the shape of that bulb size and it'll be plug and play.

speaking of map lights/dome lights
i just bought this Luxer1 style 12-LED LED Interior Dome Light from http://www.ijdmtoy.com/webpage/products/panel.htm

I hope it works!

DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET ONES TO REPLACE FOR THE MAP LIGHTS? I CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!!!

PERHAPS NOT EVEN LED BUT JUST BLUE ONES IN GENERAL? THE WHITE ISNT DOING IT FOR ME.

yea. They have little kits in the same section as the neon lights and all that stuff. Pretty pricey but most are just plug n play... ready for a 12v current.

There are kits of LED's that are universal. You know...for a custom application. Not to replace exact bulb locations. My bad if I misunderstood dudes question.

no they don't. You should be buying them online if you want leds. You should be soldering led's intot he swithces and all if you want an upgrade. Not the $5 ones from radioshack or whatnot. Do some research guys. It's been covered way too many times.
