After i pulled my max out of my garage today i noticed that there was an oil stain on the garage floor. I checked underneath my car and noticed that the bottom of my oil pan had oil on it and a piece of metal with two huge bolts on it had a slight amount of residue. At first i thought it was the dreaded tranny leak by the axles but it wasnt once i checked. My oil bolt was pretty tight and so was my oil filter. Any thing i could've missed or should check? Thanx for the help

 

Oil Pressure Sender Unit ?? Its on the rear of the motor so it goes overlooked sometimes.

Rear main?

 

if it appears its coming from the upper oil pan, its probably not, its most likely the timing cover. I had the timing cover leak, we all thought it was the aluminum oil pan but it wasnt.

 

But the rear main is right on the upper oil pan.
