What year Max? Not sure if the 5.5 have the RE4F04A, but if it's a '00-'01, I have a set of solenoids for sale (virtually brand new, not even a whole mile on them) for $100 shipped. PM me for more info.

I have a set of transmission solenoids, also for sale. They have less than a mile on them. They are for the 02-03 Maximas. I got them for around $275 or so. I'll let them go for much cheaper.

All you need is two things - a ratchet and a 10mm deep socket. That's literally the only thing absolutely needed to replace the solenoids. A 3/4 or 19mm helps if you want to drain it first, as well as a drain pan to catch the trans fluid in.

Drain pan, remove pan, remove VB (only 13 bolts I believe), remove the 6 or 7 solenoid bolts, remove and replace solenoids, stitch it all up back together, refill trans fluid.

BTW, anyone interested, lowering my price to $80 shipped ConUS on the solenoids.
