HELP...SES Light = IVT Control P0021

Did a search and only one post about this that was really left unresolved...

Anyways, just got back from a long road trip through the Florida Keys, Clearwater, Miami, and Orlando area from Connecticut and put about 3500 miles on my 03 6-Speed. I did a full Mobil 1 5w-30 oil and filter change right before and the day after I get back SES light goes on.

Advanced Auto Parts Says Code P0021 Camshaft Position Actuator A - Bank 2 Timing Over-Advan.

.org says its IVT Control bank 2....please help!

I don't notice any changes but I need to go to Canada (~500 miles each way) on Monday, you all think I'll have any issues if I go? thanks very much in advance---for the reference about 48k on the odo. Oil level is perfect

All kidding aside... have a great trip!
Where in Canada are you going to?
I have to go to Lethbridge soon... debating if I should drive or fly..

Lethbridge (in Alberta if I'm not mistaken) would be a haul from Mass, unless you want the experience of the actual road trip I'd fly or unless youll be there for long in which case a rentacar would be expensive.

I'm just going to Niagara Falls with my gf and cousing with his fiance who are in from Europe. Reset the ECU this morning and nothing so far so wish me luck

2537 miles = 41 hours of driving (from waltham, mass) now you take into account food along the way at least a night at the hotel, time, gas, 2 oil changes, etc....definitely fly
