Putting in a new AE LSD Auto Tranny. Want to make it better first.

What all can be done to my new lsd transmission to improve shifting and make it hold up to 300hp+? So far I've found a Nissan Reprogramming Kit #RE4F04B-HD2 from Transgo for the valve body. I called them and they told me its a huge improvement, use Amsoil ATF, and that I don't really need a tranny cooler. Its new, not a rebuild, so I want to make it hold up before I put it in. Can the viscous diff be made stronger, better? Any recommendations?

Chris

How are you planning on making more than 300 hp?

Just curious I guess.

Its a valve body upgrade. You basically rebuild your valve body using their kit. They told me that it can be adjusted to shift closer to redline too. Clicky for more info.

Dude, you're in Dallas, go over to east Dallas or west Garland. I think it's on Miller, right near where Miller turns to Royal, the shop is called Jotech. They specialize in Hondas but are good with any Nissan as well. Damn do I miss home (Garland).

From what I have seen, JokeTech mostly specializes in bolt on turbo kits and tuning, other than that that place is a ricers wet dream. How bad is Olympia/Lacey, Wa, that you miss garland?

Well I've decided to go with the reprogramming kit, now does anyone know if the viscous fluid in the diff can be changed to a better fluid?

Good luck with the VB mod.
Oly and suburbs is only 90k people, I miss the big city, Deep Ellum, and sunshine. It rains like 260 days a year.

Deep Ellum has had to have police gang units to patrol the area for over a year now, even with the extra force there have been several homicides and weekly shootings in the last month or so alone in the downtown clubbing area. I'm hoping to move to Los Colinas in the next year or so, Dallas is becoming a zoo.

I will update this thread once the tranny is in and I'm running the n2o, I haven't seen this setup on any car yet.
