Blehmco stuff questions (susp)

Hey guys, im getting ready to do a full suspension overhaul on my 98 I30, ive been thinking i want to do H&R springs, Illuminis (i know i cant spell), and now im thinking of adding Blehmco stage 1 and or stage 2, I dont intend to race the car, just drive it, but i want it to handle like a european car, so i have a few questions.
1) stage one sounds good, but will it be too low? i do drive through snow and everything, anyone got pics and or reccomendations? also how hard is it to install?
2) Stage two, is it gonna be overkill? it hangs high and is easy to install i hear?

Also pics of them installed i would love to see, thanks guys, ohh and Matt if your in here how much would a stage 1 and stage 2 done in red be?

Thanks

The stage 1 and 2 are the same height off the road. All the stage 2 is is the stage 1 + a 2nd bar and diagonal supports.

The stage 2 does alot more to tighten up the front end.

As to snow.....it's just a bar, so it pushes through snow just fine.

A couple pics or the stage 2 bar back when I had stock springs

since cardomain isn't linking right now for some reason, here are the links for you to use to see the pics.

as you can see, it's just slightly lower than the front subrame member in front of it...

Ohh wow, thanks for that

So from what you say for a street car youd reccomend the stage one for my situation?

Then matt if you could quote me a stage one in red that would be great, thanks

no, I would always recommend the stage 2. It gives much better stiffening and response compared to the stage 1. I've had both. Originally the stage2, but put on a stage1 because of autocross classing regulations. On Friday I'm putting the stage 2 back on, because it's just so much better.

They arent hard to install either. Well atleast the stage 1. Heres a tip though. You need a thin walled 22mm socket. Having 2 of them is even better. One of the sockets will act as a place holder of sorts. The bar has enough play to move and make it hard to fit a socket on the other side. When you go to install you will see what I am talking about.
