Oh Gawd! here we go again.

Is what you'll probably say. YES another Freakin Coil question. Well before you jump on me, yes I seached and there was no obvious answer so here I am at your mercy asking.......
it's def a newb question after not finding straight foward answers in all the ignition coil threads. I just recieved some ebay coils ($247 shipped) and they came with RED DOTS. When I looked at the engraved P#'s are 22448-2y010 and 22448-2Y015 by Hanshin. Are these okay, legit, refurbished, non-updated parts? Anything I should know about, or am I ok with these? Thanks

If you install those your car will blow up...

Really though, they sound fine... Anything has to be better than the original coils.

Here's a simple test for you: take out your old coils, and install you new Red Dot Coils. If it works fine, than you got the right coils...

Seriously, there's nothing you can damage buy installing wrong coils. Give it a try!

Installed this morning. Blew up and now speaking from the afterlife.

Seriously it seems to work fine. More of a kick to my accel. Now I've got to go to autozone to see if the P1320 code disapeared. **SES never came on. SLIP/ABS/TCS off did, which is why I checked in the 1st place. Those lights still come on sporadically which leads me to believe an ABS sensor is Fuxored. But at least I got rid of the coil problem....hopefully.

Thanks for all the replies BTW guys.
