i know it's not the right place to ask...but i really need all of the views i can get to increase my odds of finding someone. does anyone sell a 97+ center console (w/lid, cupholders, etc) if it fits a 96?

i need a black one...so if anyone is thinking about being a pal and taking theirs out and selling it to me, it would be greatly appreciated!

 

There was a discussion about this in the 4th gen forum last month, but I couldn't find it. Basically, yes, they will fit, but you have to take a few things into consideration. First, the 97+ consoles only have 2 slots for seat switches or change, not 3. Second, the 97+ variant doesn't have a rear seat ashtray.

I also seem to recall seeing a black center console for sale in the appropriate forum, might want try and find it.

 

someone already wanted to buy it, and it was for a steal too ...$80.

please...help me find one!

 

Start calling the junkyards, I'm sure there are atleast a couple wrecked Maximas local to you.
