Rear Window Defroster Repair Possible?

I accidently broke off the electrical connection on one side of my rear window defrost grid. It snapped clean off.

Is there any way to solder it back on? Or am I looking at an entirely new rear window to recover its function again. Grrrr I'm so freakin mad at myself for breaking it off. I was trying to fix a rear deck rattle, and karma bites me in the azz.

Sweet. Picked up a kit today. I had no idea that they existed at all. Cost me $15CDN for the kit. Some sort of special prep solution and a electrically conductive adhesive. Looks pretty easy to do.
