Nismo Exhaust Hangers

I just ordered a set of nismo exhaust hangers(supposedly, they're stiffer offering less movement of the exhaust) for my new catback and I've heard they can be difficult to get on the supports. Any one have experience mounting these? How tough are they?

Hey can you post the link where you bought them. I tried looking for them before but with no luck. Thanks

I ordered mine from Courtesy Nissan down in Texas. Try courtesynissan.com. They're pricey though.... $14 bucks apiece.

I'm interested in getting a set of these as well. My b-pipe sits awfully close to a suspension piece right before it crosses over the axle (about 1/2" of clearance) and constantly hits off this suspension piece. Moving the exhaust around really isn't an option, either, there's very little room (2.5" exhaust) and the hangars are all in place already obviously.

This is what I get for going custom Oh well, sounds better than pre-made

Mine sits just as high as OEM (higher in some places) except the resonator, since my resonator is larger (like 1/2" difference in ground clearance).

Just use some sort of lubricant and they'll slide right in.

what do you mean there isn't room with a 2.5" exhaust. I have a few inches of clearance and im lowered about 4", and my b pipe is 2.5".. you should change that b pipe for a cattman..

I was hoping it'll be that easy, thanks.

the only tricky hangers are the two that hold up the cat and y pipe up. You'll have to unbolt those to removed them.

A few inches of clearance from what? I'm not talking ground clearance issues, I'm talking clearance from components on the car. My b-pipe hits off of a suspension arm because it sits so close to it. It's just the way the piping was bent. No way would I go Cattman either, because I love my cat-back and it was way cheaper than a Cattman would be. It would be a waste of money.

I'm really wondering why you ordered Nismo clamps, regular muffler clamps with a hose clamp would not do the job? I mean at $18/per that seems a bit much.

I just ordered a single Nismo exhaust hanger for the b-pipe (it's the only one that really needs it). It was like $14 something before shipping, shipping was nearly $10 for some odd reason.

hose clams are .. when the exhaust moves side to side they'll come loose.. this is only a temp fix..

You and your aluminum. Wont all the exhaust vibrations be transfered directly to the floor of the car then? Im guessing that is why they are made out of rubber. To dampen the vibrations to the chassis.

I bought some "universal" polyurethane ones a while back on ebay. I still haven't been able to put them on. Sprayed some PB blaster on them and they just don't slide on. The hole is a tad smaller then the hanger .
