Paint- how to get baked water spots out
anyone know how to get rid of the water spots that have seemed to bake into the whole right side of my car, glass and paint?
I tried waxing it and I tried vinegar water but to no avail, any other suggestions?

Into the glass too? Hmmm, Did you try a buffer/dremel with a polishing head on it? You cant really sand it, try an abrassive cleaner, like toothpaste(not sure if this would work though, just speculating).

I would buy some good wax (look in the detailing section for what type to use)and pick a spot on your car, (lets say right side of your hood)...Try waxing that one spot 2-3 or 3-4 time to see if it takes the spots off. IF that works, you will just have to wax the the rest of the car a few more times. IF it don't...??? ever consider changing the color of your car...(new paint job)...not sure if you have to go that extreame..but someone else might have a suggstion...if waxing works just wax it on a regular basis to keep the spots off...
There are various products you might want to look into for the paint but, I would try mothers polishing compound. Make sure you get the one that is clear coat safe. For the glass try 0000 grade steal wool this is safe for glass and works great with regular windex.
First get some Dawn dish soap. This stuff will take the wax right off the car and hopefully the water spots with it. You might need to wash it once or twice. If that don't work than you might need to use a polish wax. A polish wax has is fine grit in it to buff out inperfections in the paint. McGuires sells one that is good. I think it is step two of there 3 step process. If that does not work go to step one of that system which is a paint cleaner. A more abrasive wax. You can try that or you can try a clay bar. That works real good also for taking impurities out of paint. I know mothers makes one and also Zaino. Also when you said you waxed it did you actually mean you waxed it with a final wax like a carnuba wax ect. Don't ever do that because all you are doing is adding a layer of wax over it and sealing it in.
