You can get the 5 spd swap to make the auto stronger for racing, and faster too. j/k, was going along with everyones posts.

Well ud need a vb mod, a strong tq converter... prolly some kinda high stall idk man auto sucks who cares....

For a well set-up turbo, that's quite a bit of boost for a 10:1 CR engine.

Yeah, i'm sorry... anyone who gets on and says they're gonna turbo it and then procedes to say their gonna put out 10-15psi into their stock VQ with an automatic... prolly is just making it up.
For now do the VB mod, and add a tranny cooler. And the best tranny fluid money can buy (and I don't know what that is since I don't drive an auto)
And when you turbo it I'd not put more than 8psi... in fact I would definately put a boost controller and keep it around 4 for normal driving and bump it up for racing... (but I guess that's cause I would actually want my car to last a little longer)
Start with the small stuff, then get into turboing it.

If you want to make your auto tranny stronger for boost down the line. It would be better to post this question in the S/C or Turbo'd section.

get it rebuilded. VB mod, stronger TC, and add shot pinned and cryo-treaded to the grocery list. You should have a nice and strong tranny then that should last you quite some time. If you are serious about wanting a tranny of this nature I can recommend you to a guy who should be able to get it done for you.

PM me if your sure and ready to get it done
