6th Gen: Extended Warranty Purchase

I'm a new owner of a 2006 SE and still have under 1,000 miles on it. Previous owner of a 1993, 1997, and 2001 Max, so I am not new to these cars. However, I want an extended warranty just for my own piece of mind. I have read the other threads on here and know it's generally not recommended as it's not needed -- but I want it just to put my mind to rest.

That being said, I didn't buy it at the dealer because they wouldn't budge on the very high price (probably because I already got this Max for a total steal!).

So. Here is the plan: http://www.nissanusa.com/pdf/securit...overageMfr.pdf

Three questions:

1. Would I be correct in saying that this plan is basically the same as the 3/36 standard warranty, which will replace anything and everything as needed, except that it doesn't cover wear items, the cluch (I have a 6-speed), the Bluetooth system, and the Bose radio components (as per Section 8, sub section 8.2) ... ???

2. What is the best way to "shop" this warranty for the best price? My thought is to e-mail a couple of local dealers, as well as two dozen big dealers across the country explaning my purchase/vehicle and the desire for the Gold Coverage warrant, and ask them for "best offer" credit card payment price we could even process over the phone (if the dealer is far away). Anyone have better suggestions?

3. What is a ballpark price I should expect to pay for this coverage up to 100K miles? Term anywhere between 60-84 months doesn't matter, I will hit mileage first for sure. Just asking.

Don't try to talk me out of the warranty. This is my first brand new car, and my first extended warranty purchase. Any input on the three topics above would be appreciated.

WILL not try to pull you off buying the warranty. The piece of mind is key. I got the Warranty when I rolled my wife's Sienna off the lot. 105k later., the first issue happened 3k after the warranty expired, it was the Alternator.
Toyota did not cover once cent of it. All other service was not covered, brakes and shocks, these were wear items. The peace of mind was great though specially when the engine sludge thing came out in early 03 (alot of Sienna's had sludge even with regular oil changes). I did not care because I had the extended warranty.

I paid $1100, this was Toyota though and it was early 2000.
