Opinions Please :Lips vs KIT

I had an accident and I need a new front bumper, fender, etc.. Im going to fix it soon but I dont know if I should buy a new stock bumper and some nice lips around the whole car or if I should just spring for a new body kit (maybe the R33 one on eBay)... It's going to be about the same $$$. I would like to know what you guys think...

All suggestions are welcome!
Thanks for your input !!!

I think that body kits look out of place on maximas. I love the way the stillen and Ionic lip kits look on our cars though. Just wish I had the money!

I'm actually looking at a whole new body kit too. Anyone have a good picture of a maxima with the skyline body kit?

Lip kit all the way! They both look pretty solid, but the Stillen's going to cost you.

Most of the lip kits are ureathane or frp. Alsmost unbreakable (unless you do something stupid). On the other hand, the e-bay kits are fiberglass and the are not the most durable. You take a rock in the bumper and you could probably kiss that kit goodbye.
Do some reasearch on fiberglass and on the urethane and you'll see the differences for your self.
I would go with the stillen/ionic just for the durability reasons alone.

Lip Kit x's 10. Its alot more classy. The body kits that are out there are too "stuck" on, like they dont belong. Im not just talking the kits the for maxima. Im talking every car out there. Honda's and all. Kits are just gross. The Stillen Kit is just classy and flows nice and just looks good !!

Mine is being put on right now, while I have the undercoating and rustproofing done. CF goes on and I will have some pics

don't do the skyline kit.....first off it's fiberglass, second it's either go with the stillen or ionic design lip kit. Those both look like they belong on a max. Sure they can be more expensive but you get what you paid for, and I mean that in a good way. I can't tell you how many times I've scraped or bumped into things with my stillen front lip and it still looks nice!

every option has a different look, and it's all about what you want to achieve.

kit- ricey-er, makes your car look more like a tuner racer
stillen - sporty addition to the car that doesn't really transform the over all look
ionic- subtle extension of cars shapes.

Their are arguments for each possibility ad it all has to do with what look you're trying to achieve. Personally, I'd like the stillen kit for my self but I've seen other cars that look amazing with body kits and the ionic lips as well. Almost everyone here will tell you to go with stillen, but decide what you want to achieve and make a decision from there.

I actually really like the new ionic kit. Looks like stillen and is made with new material to have incredible flexibility.
