KYB or Tokico?
Well, there are always Konis, but very few are willing to pay (or install) for those.
Most usually go for GR2s, AGXs or Illuminas. Illuminas are the best riding of the three, AGXs the stiffest, and GR2s you probably don't want, since they won't hold up to a moderate drop very well and aren't adjustable.
So, if you want a less jarring ride and don't mind paying more, go with Illuminas. If you don't mind getting rattled around a bit and would rather pay less, go with the AGXs. I think that's mostly the response that you're going to get.

I ordered the Tokico Illumina Kit. I saved some money by going with the kit and the reviews that I have seen have been very good. I should know first hand by the end of the week how good they are. I'll be moving up from OEM on my '96.
