BBK options from wilwood for 4th gens

i was just browsing wilwood's website for BBK and they have a coupla good options. the 4 piston one seems like a good deal and compareable to the 300zx setup but runs a bit more expensive. not to mention that the pad choices will be much better with the 300zx bbk setup. anyone tried the wilwood yet? your thoughts?

http://fastbrakes.com/shop/index.php?cPath=30_82

im sure we can use 13" rotors with these right ? they come with SS lines, pads, slotted and drilled with your choice of 4 piston or 6 piston calipers

If you used the 300zx setup with the 13" cobra rotors or Matt blehms 2 piece rotors it will almost deff be more braking power than you need. Deff more braking power than the tires can provide grip on any sort of street tire.

The thing about the Wilwood kits is that they are really lightweight, especially if you get 2-piece rotors. That's why they're more expensive than a Z32 setup.

AFAIK, everyone who's used one of their kits has loved it.

Could be ~20 lbs or more, IIRC... Don't quote me though.

Looks are up for debate (depending on model of Wilwood), but are you kidding about the choice of pads? Superlites or Dynalites were always listed from each HP brake pad manufacturer, and i'm not talking about over the counter variety too.

The Z calipers do have an outer dust seal... +1 for them.

Fstbreaks full kit is approximately $900 however if you just buy everything but the rotors from Fastbreaks, for $600 or so and obtain the 04 rotors from Automax95 for $140... that is $740 for a nice setup... saving you roughly $160... I spoke with Brian myself and he recommened I go this route which is just as good...

as to weight, I didn't weigh them, but the Z32 aluminum calipers are extremely light...I'd say 4 lbs tops.....

it's the rotors where the weight difference is more apparent in 1-pc vs. 2-pc

As irish said the z32 calipers are aliminum and you can buy 2pc rotors which are prob just as light as the wilwood rotors if not less.
