Die Hard Gold - excellent choice, just as good as any "aftermarket" battery out there.

die hard gold is good choice too
but how about (optima) red or yellow top. little expensive but its worth it.
i got one (red top) a year ago.

only problem ive ever had with my optima(red top) was i left it sitting for a year. it wouldnt charge back up with my battery charger b/c of the fiberglass inside. other than that one minor issue that you''ll most likely never run in to, its a great battery. catch them on sale at pep boys ever once in a while for under 100$ after rebates

if he's not running a system, red top would probably be overkill...

but if you are planning a system upgrade the red top is a great choice well worth the money and it'll save to time and money swapping out later on even without a system i would personally stick one in ... depends on ur money situation and future mods

Get a Duralast Gold from AutoZone, it's just as good as anything else.

Unless you plan on installing your battery in an unconventional fashion, there is no need for an Optima.

Also a majority of the conventional batteries out there come from the same place, the only difference is what sticker they carry.

Costco batteries are great btw, but as I said, all the same...

I got a Die Hard Gold and don't notice any difference. As far as I'm concerned, that's good

I just came back from Costco and checked out the Optima Red Tops while shopping for other stuff. $109!?! I remember paying $90 before. Sears is selling Red Tops for $134. I'm at the point where I'll be needing a new battery soon so I'll most likely get the Die Hard Gold for $80 at Sears.

I've run the Die Hard Gold in my cars before with no problems. I am currently running the one above it in my car.

I like having the double posts, this is where I connect the power wire for my amps.
