The Street Scenes grille is your best option. SS recommends cutting but a number of ppl we able to mount the SS grille over the existing grille. Kpazzo has a write up on his page. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/259701/1

You don't have to get it if you don't want it. Some guys get only the valence grille. The stock grille is apart of the bumper. There is a piece that outlines the grille which you will have to remove. Take a look at Kpazzo's cardomain page and pics from my site. You can see the ss grille mounted over the stock grille.

i tried removing the stock grille but i couldnt succeed. i've already viewed those picture of "write up" but still not sure how to remove the factory grille? do i have to remove the headlights and bumper in order to unscrew the grille? i mean suppose that i may not want to put aftermarket grille on top of stock grille then how to remove the stock grille? there are 4 screws behind the grille i can remove 3 of them but 4th one is right in front if the hood release which is hard to get my hands on. so any additional idea...regarding "how to remove" the stock grille. thanks for helping!

You may one of those short stubby screw drivers to get to that fourth screw. As for the stock grille, you will need to cut it out. The bumper will probably need to be removed. Per the pic on ebay, it's apart of the bumper.

Sorry but I don't know how to remove the bumper and I don't have that info. You're going to have to search for it. Best of luck.

thats exactly what i want for my car. where did you buy that grille and did you cut the grille to make it fit? any modification done during the procedure such as removal of the bumper or anything? I can see you have zip tied that aftermarket grille on top angle but what about the bottom? how did you ziptie that? and in the picture i can see that you broke the stock grille instead of removing it correctly, is there a way to remove the stock grille without breaking it? i like your grille so much please help me out with some additional information such as "how to install that grille similar to yours and how to remove the stock grille" i tried taking those 4 screws off behind the grille but i only could unscrew 3 of them, the 4th one is in very difficult place that i cant get my screwdriver there. even though i used the small screwdriver but no luck.

I dont recall where I bought the grill but it is made by Street Scene, it didn't came chromed I had it done locally to place that have been doing show chrome for 30 years. It cost me 200$ CDN to have both grill triple chrome process. The Nissan grill cant be remove on a 2k - 2k1 you have to cut it. To tie the lower part of the grill I use a drill and made small perforation in the lower inside part of the bumper and zip tie it. Ok first you have to remove the grill contour, there is few screw to remove I cant remember exactly the number or where they are located. It's a no brainer and to my knowledge there is only one way to install it the way I did it, you need to cut the grill unless you have a 2k2 then I believe the grill is removable.

You have to be carefull to not break the Nissan grill contour, I think there is 4 screw to remove. In order to remove the inside screw you need to use a small screw driver and remove it from the inside ( between the radiator and the grill ) get ready to scratch your hand or finger that's the price to pay to get something exclusive.
